The Lady Pirates softball team traveled to Columbus to take part in the Elite Eight AA state playoffs Thursday, Oct. 28. Their first game was with a team they knew well, Union County. In 2009, the Lady Pirates were eliminated by Union in the first round. Game one of the Elite Eight continued from 2009 as Union shut down the Lady Pirates 4-0. [Full story »]
