Colonel James Stewart “Stu” Mosbey flew 375 fighter missions over southeast Asia, served 30 years in the Air Force and earned Honorary Marine Pilot Wings. He flew every service variant of the F-4 Phantom during his career. He now spends his days at his Williamson home and hangar when he isn’t piloting trips for his alma mater UGA or flying for fun.
On April 24 he will be one of four aviators inducted into the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame during a banquet at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins. For ticket or sponsorship information, call 478-328-0704.
