Georgia State Patrol Post 26 in Thomaston investigated one traffic crash in April in Pike County, with one injury. Troopers issued 78 citations including 32 speeding and 22 seat belt violations. They issued 59 warnings.

Sheriff's office to investigate stolen property
The Friday night theft of a Polaris four-wheeler and trailer is being investigated by the Pike County sheriff's office. The vehicle disappeared during the night after the thief entered property on Highway 109 East by cutting a fence.
