GSP report
Georgia State Patrol Post 26 in Thomaston investigated three traffic crashes during March in Pike County, with no injuries or deaths. Troopers issued 47 citations including one DUI, 25 speeding, and seat belt violations. They issued 19 warnings.

Jackson man arrested for string of Pike burglaries
A 31-year-old Jackson man is in the Pike County jail awaiting a bond hearing after being charged with burglary. Pike sheriff Jimmy Thomas identified the man as Jackie Martin. He has been charged with one burglary and is a suspect in two more.
