Mud bogger is fined $300
Mud bogging entrepreneur Ron Snowden had his day in court Wednesday, March 25. He was ordered by visiting Spalding County magistrate judge Rita Cavenaugh to pay $300 in fines.

Why dont they just leave it alone. Its something fun for once in Pike County. All i heard at work was how fun everyone was having being out there watching all the trucks. My son loved going out there.

I posted this same comment and/or question on the pollcat a few days ago. Seems that the local officials were in an uproar about citizens crossing hwy 19 to get to the mudbog. That was before Mr. Snowden addressed the issue and started parking everyone on his property. A few weekends ago, the bank downtown had piggybank day. Man, there were a couple hundred parents and children crossing hwy 19 then. But, NO MASSIVE UPROAR ABOUT THAT! Two sets of rules I guess!
