Georgia immigration fight a sham

As goes Arizona, so goes Georgia.

Lawmakers got the ball rolling last week on the issue that could be the dominating one for this session of the General Assembly: immigration control.

War on drugs, war on terrorism, war on immigration all a scam. The only thing that bothers me is when I see someone lose their life believing they are making a difference in any of these three areas.

Saxby Chambliss owns a farm. Do you really think he wants strick laws? I really do wish all the immigrants would leave. Two weeks later we would be begging for them to return.

First off Requiring a company to use E-verify is no more unconstitutional than making that company pay taxes.
I have heard that the agriculture industry would suffer. I have been steadily hearing that for 20 years. Problem is during that last 20 years I have seen the undocumented worker move from the planting fields to the building of strip malls and build high rise buildings downtown, to working in your local steakhouse.
One thing most folks don't realize is when an undocumented worker becomes unemployed,No unemployment for him or her.
Why?
Because the unemployment office does what no one else seems to be able to do.
Actually verify who they are.
These illegal workers are costing the tax payers of every county and every state billions of dollars.Their children are becoming legal citizens from outdated laws.
The funny thing is if you ask a business owner about his illegal workers he'll proudly tell you how hard they work.
What he wont tell you is that they work for half the money Americans do.
As the owner drives off in his new Cadillac the worker makes barely enough to feed his family.
In the end Republicans want them to work for them.
The Democrats want them to vote for them and social programs.
Polls say 90% of Americans want illegals gone I say as long as the above is true......Good luck

Use em when you need em. Send them back when you dont. Beats paying unemployment benefits when there aint no crops. Plus you can be sure they will come back next year after their off season vacation in mexico. If people understood how hard it is for a farmer to make money they would understand why these immigrants are crucial for them to survive. I know plenty of American workers who work off the books for the same reason. If boss man played by the rules that would put him and his help out of work. Running a business is not as easy for some as it is for FBT. Its tough to make it when everybody got their hands in your pocket. After all with all these billion dollar corporations getting tax breaks they need to get them tax dollars from the working man. It would be hard for them to pay 20 million dollars a year to their CEO if America didnt keep giving them tax breaks.

It is funny the people that want to send these people back are the same people that use them.. Make these people pay for their benefits just as everyone else does and let people live were they want.

I can remember years ago busloads of migrants comin over the bridge in south Texas, in the spring to start pickin. The buses all had the names of farms painted on the side..... sounds like sponsorship to me. Once the migrants started pickin they just moved north from Texas to end up in the wheat fields of the Dakotas or the apple orchards of New York. Come fall these migrants would bus back across the border to Mexico. Some stayed. Most left. Nowadays most illegals hit the border and run north to wherever they feel safe and can find work, with no thought of returning south. Seems to me a legitimate employer or group of same could sponsor however many of 'em they needed which would document their employees and keep the feds happy (outa sight, outa mind)

Yesthey say Americans wnt do the jobs this people do for the pay they get. I have never seen a job that I WOULDNT DO AS LONG AS IT WAS LEGAL AND NOT BREAKING THE lAW OF MY lORD .yOU WOULD NOT BELIVE THE JOBS AND THE PAY I RECEIVED.
