County commissioners voted to reduce funding for several county departments by a total of $95,112 at the Jan. 25 meeting.

Did anyone actually do the math on this "budget cut"?

What's the budget $11 million? This is 0.85% of the budget that has increased 400% in the last 10 years.

You ladies and gentlemen have a LONG way to go.

he's not too far off. 8.8 million just under 1% and he's pretty close on the last 10 years too, between 3 and 400 percent in the last 10 years.

Allot of this increase was to the Gestapo PCSO so they could ride around in new cars and terrorize good citizens of Pike County

i say we close the magistrates court. it has no worth. even if you win a judgment, you can't put them in jail till they pay and it will be your full time job to try and collect.
