That is pushing it a bit don't you think? I passed through and in my best estimation it was 200 tops. Ask the police/sheriff what their estimates are and see who's more accurate. Anyway, it was a disgraceful turnout by both spectators and participants. Dollar for dollar it cost us taxpayers more in expenditures than what it’s worth. In my opinion the King movement was a generational event and that generation has died off, today it is a paid holiday for government workers and the rest of America could care less. As the years pass so will the dream……..
