If trees can be left across Twin Oaks Rd. on the side of the pre Release Center, I will have an inmate detail handle the chipping.

Years ago, chipped Christmas trees were available at the road department. I loaded many a pickup truckload and spread it around trees I had planted. Assuming you are using the same chipper, this chipper has no screen in it so the chips vary in size and the skinny branches do not chip up cleanly. Although, this is unsightly mulch (compared to the fine mulch you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot) with different sizes of wood chips it is the best mulch. It allows the water to drain through much better. This mulch is gardener's gold and can be piled somewhere in your yard to breakdown. Doesn't take but a few years, mine is all gone except the "large" amount of gravel that was mixed in because they chipped on a gravel pad then scooped it with a front loader. I took chips from places I could find with no gravel but most of it was unusable. Not done properly its a great idea wasted. Thanks for your efforts.
