A group of small cities in Pike County and surrounding counties are invited to a small cities meeting to discuss how to bring more visitors to area businesses. The round table discussion will be held Jan. 11 at 11 a.m. at Concord Cafe.

ONe of Pike Counties best kept secrets. Incredible Sunday Brunch!!! And great meals during the week.!

The Concord Cafe has great food, but, the lady who owns it is not very friendly. In fact, she is downright rude!

I would imagine if you were having to make all the canned goods,deserts,and do the cooking (of some of the most amazing food) and deal with all the others hassels of running your own business people might misunderstand and call you not very friendly. Give me a good, clean, experienced cook any day rather than a pleasant, inexperienced slob !! This is the only place I know of that you don't need to worry about the cleaness of the restaurant, or the quality of the food.

When you speak of canned goods, you are speaking of homemade goodness in a mason jar. She has the best jams and pickles anywhere, anytime.

I have not interacted much with her but I guess it would be her husband he is super nice. Plus the other guy who helps him out is super nice.

people are not flocking to it now and it has been here long enough to attrack a crowd if it was to do so. you want to draw the visitor dollar be ready to build something.

The powers to be screwed up when they allowed the railroad between Griffin and Warm Springs to be abandoned. It would have been a toursit gold mine with stops in Williamson, Concord, Molena and etc., ending in Warm Springs.

The food is always good and the restaurant is clean.
