Mrs. Marie Gooden Rogers, 88, of Meansville, died Dec. 26, 2010. Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, at 3 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1-3 p.m.

We sure will miss Ms. Rogers. She was such a sweet lady. I am so sorry we did not know until now about her passing. One of my fondest memories of her is coming across the street and playing the scrub board for us. She was truly a blessing.
