Bus was stuck, not wrecked

A Pike County school bus got stuck in a soft shoulder off the side of Second District Road Monday, Dec. 13 during afternoon routes. Several citizens were concerned that the bus had wrecked and no ambulance or police had been called.

No way not in Pike County these are some super fine roads they should be used as examples all over America the way to do it right.

By the way there is no way the Bus that goes up and down West Road in Williamson Georgia will ever get stuck it goes way too fast to ever get stuck!! Warp speed Beem me up Scottie Back to the Future type speed.

This sounds like a story from the 1940's or 1950's what is happening in Dear Old Pike Co.

And over that ramshackle bridge too. Why was Turner Road's bridge fixed, but not this one?

Concrete should never sag.

fixed? they pit a round pipe in the creek and covered it with dirt, pitiful. It ruined a beautiful Sunday walk to look at a vigorous waterway, now it is a trickle of water through a straw

I'm so sorry your walk has been diminished.

The kids on the buses that travel across that "straw" are safer. The same should be done on West Milner.
