king of polcat and leader of the movement. what movement is still to be determined. anyways he does support the 18k for a volley fire chief, fireworks for the poor and he wants splost to pass so the boc can spend more tax dollars. yet boc will have to spend tax dollars because the revenues will fall short and we will be left holding the bag.
i am a professional bean counter and rubber of the crystal ball. there is a new concept and movement trying to take place and that is spend less. i know the polecat-5 on their site have all the answers but they will not work.
we have serious problems and need serious people to solve them, the free loaders need to get a real job and the rest need to learn to do without.
Sounds like you need to relocate. Immigrants do not like their country and they come here. Where are you thinking about going? If you stay here it sounds like you should work on getting a government position and help change things. We can all sit around and whine about the present situation. I really dont think it will help anything. But dont let me stop you.
Immigrants do like their country. They only come here on a temporary basis. To make tax free money!! Send it back home to their family, so when they return, in three to five years, they can build their $10,000 dream home. Ocean view! They stay in one home so they can send the majority of their money home. Contractors should be prosecuted for hiring illegals. I have no problem with someone who is legal and wants to stay. The illegal is underpaid because they don't need any money living together as they do. Legals need more pay because they choose not to live with 20 people. They hate it here! I have heard those words time and time again. Prosecute the contractor!!!! He puts all the money in his pocket!!!
I agree with all this, but how can 'we the people' actually STOP this crap? Everyone says to vote em out, but the next ones coming in arent' any better. How can we stop this crap?
America imports the finest heroin from Afghanistan. This country receives cocaine so pure from Bolivia it shines like fish scales in the light. The marijuana from Mexico is so potent one hit is all it takes to distort the mind. These drugs have been supplied to Americans for decades and have been accepted by society. These drugs that the United States Government makes sure are readily available play a big part of the system so many are against. People complain about folks getting food stamps. But when a drug user gets sent to prison nobody seems to care about that cost to tax payers. The last time I looked it cost $40,000 a year to house one inmate for a year. Hospitals and rehabs also get hit with millions of people every year with no money and major issues caused by drug addiction. Then all the crimes fueled by this government controlled epidemic have to be prosecuted and representation also has to be provided at a cost to the state. I am sure all the people using these drugs tonight are not planning to go to work anytime soon. But for some reason all these facts are not enough reason to stop drugs from entering this country. This country sets people up for failure. They certainly make sure folks have all the tools available for them to succeed at it. Then they make felonies out of every drug charge that they possibly can. So now you got a whole group of folks that can not find work because they were labeled as a felon. But nobody sees this. People want to talk about welfare, foodstamps, and housing projects. It is cheaper to support a whole family in a housing project than it costs to keep one person in prison. We live in a country that wants people to fail. It is pretty obvious. Maybe America keeps a plentiful drug supply for a positive reason. But I still have not figured it out. The only thing I can figure is with all the addicts, criminals, felons, and prisoners, I guess some things are still made in America by Americans. This country is a fraud. It still amazes me that anybody takes it seriously.
sounds like mexico is the place for you walter. you might have to pay ransom every now and then to get your family back. but you wont have to worry about all dem taxes. just dont drink the water. it is better than molena's but will still make you sick.
All we have to do is return federal spending to 2005 levels and the budget will be balanced.
Federal budget from 2004 - 2010 increased from 2.2 trillion to 3.55.
Federal revenues from 2004 - 2009 increased from 1.8 to 2.7. Federal revenues are down to 2.3 in 2010 which might give some of you an idea of how well the country is actually doing (it isn't getting better).
2005, a mere five(5) years ago, the federal budget was 2.4 trillion. assuming revenues increase, all we have to do is return the federal budget to 2005 levels and we have a balanced budget.
When you are done with your time machine let us know. I cant think of any other way to go back in time. Yankees do it by moving to the south. I cant think how we can do it.
Thats a great idea. Then we can afford to send more people into outter space. I think if we spend another trillion we might actually find E.T. But you know American logic. Lets spend 2 trillion so we have a better chance of being the first country to find him! Just curious FBT. Do you support space exploration? If you ask me that should definitely be done on strictly donations. America sure has an excellent credit line for being in so much debt.
I called Pike County Tax Office and they said businesses in the county do pay taxes. I went to the library and researched the Sabbath and found out it is from Friday night to Saturday night. What do you want me to research next? The more you have me research stuff the more you look like an idiot. I find out everything you say is untrue.
you didn't do very good research if you think that a business pays taxes. a business does not have money unless an individual gives it to them. you may as well give that one up. i understand that it's a concept that you cannot grasp. maybe one day they will find a cure for stupidity. until then, you will have to suffer.
I have owned my own business and know and have known others who ran their own business. I have never knew one not to pay taxes. But just as you are so ignorant to what day the Sabbath is I can see you having a problem with this also. Call the tax commissioner, IRS, or any accountant. You might have to wait til Saturday to do it. I forgot which day you think the Sabbath is. I wouldnt want to cause you to have to do any work on it. Your grand tax idea could only work in a monopoly. If all your competitor has to do is pay his own taxes to take your business, you will be out of business in no time. This is an undisputed fact. I heard your argument in political arguments before from people supporting big companies from not getting taxed more. They fail to see the whole picture as you do.
Yes. Me the Tax Commissioner and the IRS will suffer with our knowledge of federal and state tax laws. My accountant will not suffer at all because a good part of his salary is from businesses. But he has to work hard to help minimize the taxes they pay. Would some of the tax laws of businesses help change your mind? Actual statutes? Or are you just gonna enter your usual ignorance plea? Save your interpretations to alter your religion. They definitely will not help any when you are standing in federal court for tax evasion. I imagine you are one with folks in a better place also!
Save your interpretations for to uphold your goofy religious beliefs. Do you want my accountants phone number? Or if you would like I can send you the tax forms that businesses must file every year. FBT goes all out to make sure he does it right when he makes a fool out of himself. He gets extra credit!
Thats okay I am just going to let it slide. I know you are probably a bit distracted with your Santa Claus and all. Maybe after Jesus's birthday and before you start waiting on the Easter Bunny your mind would be clear.
Businesses pay the exact same property taxes in Pike County as Homeowners do and creat much more strain on public services and infrastructure. So it cost Homeowner more to support the extra strain the business cause.
Everything the Americans stole from the Native Americans made it more than worth it. I think I am going to get a boat and go discover Hawaii. Now you got me thinking about all the other lies America tells its school children. I dont know about you but they taught us that people used to think the earth was flat. Nobody has ever thought that in history. And to date the only man that will argue with you that it is is FBT. No book, map, or photo will convince him otherwise. A round the world cruise couldnt convince a hard head like that.
actually, you are the one who acts as if they are their own God. you talk about everyone else breaking the commandments and you go against the word of God constantly.
As any educated person could clearly see Christianity goes against it self. I could go on all day trying to explain why. But talking to a man who believes a man can be born from a virgin woman and walk on water it seems pointless. I can see your sense of reasoning. But if your reasoning and education makes you think such things are possible and you decide to become a Christian why mock others that are true to the Christian teachings. A Non-Biblical Christian?! Reminds me of my uncle Vito. He is a law abiding criminal. He parks his car. Put his money in the parking meter. Crosses the street without jaywalking. And then goes inside and robs the bank.
It goes against what people have told you the word of God is. That is a strong statement. Did you get it the first time? Your relationship and beliefs of what and who God is, is from second hand information out of a fiction book. I would use that other fools excuse and tell you I am a Non-Biblical Christian (Not much difference than the insanity plea). But as a Transcendentalist I do not have to make excuses so I can carry a Bible with teachings and Commandments I refuse to uphold. Ten simple commandments that Jesus wanted not to be desecrated for you to show your love for him. When I was young and gullible I did the Christian thing for awhile. And when I started drinking and doing drugs I was even a Non-Biblical Christian. But as I matured and became more educated I moved on. Sure I miss not believing the Easter Bunny, Santa, and Jesus the magician. But with the reasoning that God has given me and the fact that these are all stories out of fiction books I now find them quite silly. But your education brings you to another conclusion.

Good article.
Yes, we do need sanity. We do need fiscal responsibility. However, it is important to note: Spiritual problems can't be solved with political solutions. And do not be fooled: The condition of America IS a spiritual problem. The problem is what we think as a nation and NOT who is in office.
If people want to see the economic situation of this country improve, they need to focus on their own spiritual growth--that is what brings blessing and prosperity to this nation.
"Trickle down Economics" only works when God is the one controlling the flow.
When God is controlling the flow? That cracks me up. Like them stupid signs on the highway. "God has plans for this property". I want to get with that guy who made that sign. He can tell me what Gods plans are for my property. And while he is at it I am curious about my car and motorcycle also. I wonder if God has plans for them rose bushes out front. They look dead to me. But I better not do anything with them until someone can tell me what Gods plans are for them. I am glad some people have him figured out. He is so mysterious to me.

Throw up a little positive volition and He will reveal Himself (and His plan) to you. Now, what you do with that information, is your own private business...you can learn and grow, or you can ridicule and despise it.
It's your life to live; it's your choice to make.

He reveals himself every day and everywhere. As a Transcendentalist I find people basing their lives on a fiction book, full of second hand information ridiculous. Scientists and other highly educated people know these silly stories about healing the blind, being born from a virgin woman, and walking on water is just not possible. But if you are not a scientist or even came close to being one I can see how your education might lead you to think not only that these things are possible, but to trust second hand information that in no way can ever be verified. It comes down to such a simple brain function called reasoning. What type of reasoning must one have to believe such ridiculous myths. My reasoning says I will pass on to the next level upon my death. Your reasoning is that when you die you will stay dead in the dirt waiting for your flying Jesus to return. The better place you all talk about is nothing but a cold hard lonely hole in the ground. But hey, thats the reasoning that your education instilled upon you. And then Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny too? My what an amusing bunch.

Nobody can answer these questions with a definitive answer. If you do not feel a personal connection to a higher power (Some call it God) you can go out an get a fiction book (Like a Bible) and base your life and religion on it. I have a strong connection to my higher power. My connection is a first hand personal one. Yours is based on second hand information you have found in a fiction book. Where I came from and who created the earth is again a mystery. Do you know why they call the Big Bang Theory a "theory"? For the same reason Christianity is a "belief".
1. My theory is that if I go swimming every day I will turn into a fish.
2. Fat Bass Tard has a great belief in Santa Claus.
I can not answer your questions. My education and reasoning have not brought me to any conclusions. But to be honest I am not looking for one. In my heart I feel it all has to do with a power much greater than me. From my children, to my grandchildren, my garden, and all the other miracles in life I feel it is something much greater. Maybe I am just jealous that you have your God and Jesus all figured out. And I spend a good part of my time trying to figure out my teenage son. But if you feel you need an answer to your questions, for a small fee you can join one of many cults out there. Most enjoy the story teller with the man turning water in to alcohol, being born from a virgin woman, and walking on water. And if that does not have you excited yet let me tell you about Santa and the Easter Bunny. But if you are a Non-Biblical one of these I Santa will bring you coal. But if your education and reasoning makes you think it is worth finding out more about go right ahead. If that does not sound good to you I know another cult that can get you a first class ticket to heaven and 13 virgins waiting on you when you get there. They both sound ludicrous to me. But reasoning sure makes going straight to heaven sound better than laying dead in the ground. And the 13 virgins, I guess thats up to ones preference. Again I have my own connection to my higher power. When I do good it warms my heart. When I think bad thoughts I feel bad. My heaven or hell seems to be happening right now on earth. My mindset going out the front door will choose the one I will enter into. Also I feel when I die my soul will leave my body and enter into another dimension. The Christian teachings say its followers will lay dead waiting for A flying Jesus to return. Mathematicians have estimated that there has been Christians dead in the ground for over 1950 years now that have gone nowhere. A good preacher man knows it is better for business to tell the mourners that they are with God, Jesus, or both. But it is an absolute lie and is not part of Christian teachings. But if you studied the good book you will find out it is one of many. I have spent two years studying it and can not believe how lost most Christians are. Seventh-Day Adventists are the only ones that truly uphold and respect the teachings of Jesus Christ. Mainly because they base their religion on the Bible. I am not a Christian. But I know what is written in the New Testament. Why you and others do not follow the teachings of Jesus Christ but want to claim to be a Christians has me more baffled than who created man and the earth. But being we are picking each others brains I have a few questions for you.
1 Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
2 How do you usually spend your time from sundown Friday until sundown Saturday? What type of things will you avoid doing during this time?
3 Does question #2 really only apply to Biblical Christians. Does the new improved, more selfish Non-Biblical Christians, such as yourself not have to worry about it?
I know you got answers. Thats what being a Christian is about isnt it? Having an answer for everything.
i also believe in the "april fool". mostly because i read your posts.

>Nobody can answer these questions with a definitive answer.
There are 3 basic systems of perception: Rationalism, Empiricism and Faith.
You have faith in a “Higher Power” that doesn’t reveal itself to mankind…you go out and find it. You experience it. It is yours to shape and mold. You create the reaility.
I have faith in the God who has revealed himself—completely—in flesh and in Word.
>If you do not feel a personal connection to a higher power (Some call it God) you can go out an get a fiction book (Like a Bible) and base your life and religion on it.
1. Unless you can prove beyond any reasonable doubt that the Bible is a work of fiction and not the inspired word of God…you’re only stating your opinion about its origin. An opinion that just isn’t historically backed: There is just way too much evidence to support the validity of scripture. The study of “Canonicity” (how we got the Bible) is a fascinating study (and very in-depth…), but it is not my purpose here.
2. Biblical Christianity (what the word of God actually teaches in scripture) is not a religion. Religion is man attempting to find God (or a higher power: god) and to gain his approbation by works and good deeds. Biblical Christianity is God coming to man and providing salvation by the atoning work of The Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
> I have a strong connection to my higher power. My connection is a first hand personal one.
I don’t doubt that you have a “strong connection” to ‘something’, but It is very presumptive of you to think you can know my circumstances and experiences. I could speak for days about my personal experiences with the truth of God’s word and how real it is to me. But I’m not here for that either…
> Yours is based on second hand information you have found in a fiction book.
No, mine is based on Faith Perception. Just like you believe in a “higher power” based on faith.
> Where I came from and who created the earth is again a mystery. Do you know why they call the Big Bang Theory a "theory"? For the same reason Christianity is a "belief".
Yes, I do know why: it is a scientific theory. Theory based on science that is constantly changing, constantly contradicting and disproving previous assumptions with new information and new discoveries. Man always thinks that he is so smart, until he realizes how wrong he is. Then he’s so smart again until he’s proven wrong, again, and again, again. And then he still thinks that he actually knows something…
And Biblical Christianity is a RELATIONSHIP that is centered on one person: The Lord Jesus Christ.
>1. My theory is that if I go swimming every day I will turn into a fish.
That sounds like evolution to me. So, I guess if my TV plays Mad Men season 1 – 4 for a billion years…it will one day turn into Donald Draper? :)
But seriously…
You believe by FAITH in something that you have NEVER seen happen. Not even once. Nor has anyone else. Not a SINGLE person. EVER! In the entire history of the world—not a single person!
I believe by FAITH that Jesus Christ is the Word of God and He was made flesh. The only difference is that my faith is based in an object (Jesus Christ) who is historically supported by not only the Bible, but hundreds of extra-biblical accounts.
And that’s it.
Nothing else in your comment matters…
We both have faith. It’s just a matter of where we put it. You’ve obviously put yours into the hands of a “higher power” that is subjective and experiential.
I’ve put my faith into the historically documented accounts of Jesus Christ and the truth of His word which I have seen fulfilled time and time again.
> I know you got answers. Thats what being a Christian is about isnt it? Having an answer for everything.
No, actually it isn’t. I am nothing and MY ‘answers’ always tend to get me in trouble/jams. However, being a Christian is about knowing who the answer is: The Lord Jesus Christ and the (absolute) Truth contained in His word.
I appreciate your time; I really do. I enjoy good conversation and I could talk epistemology, theology, philosophy, politics and economics all day, but that isn’t why I came here…
I came to present information. It is up to the readers whether they accept it or reject it. That is a matter of their volition, privacy and freedom. I don’t want to change you or anyone else on here. I just want to share my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I’ll let His Word handle the rest.
In reference to property taxes and school taxes. I believe it is only fair to cut the school taxes of families whose children have already graduated from their county schools. I also understand that not everyone can afford to own a home or property ( even those of us that do, it is getting harder ). With that said, why can't non property owners be charged a small fee per child or household if they have children in school. This would give property owners some relief and stop the unfair practice of making us pay for all services.

a business can only get money from one place. when the rubber hits the road, the money comes from an individual spending it.
as i've said before and i understand you are too dumb to grasp it. when a company has a tax increase the individual gets a price increase.
if you take away the individual, there is no company.
HEY, finally something you do better than me.
i find you comical if you don't do the same. you can't possibly be much of a businessman if you have a second job to pay the taxes.
