There have been so many bank failures in Georgia and elsewhere around the country in recent months that we all have become somewhat conditioned to them. But, when one of two banks in your hometown fails, the severity of the blow is so readily apparent – the aftershocks so intense – one worries for the future of the community and the entire country.

It is very sad...a business that been around so long just dissolved overnight it seems. This week I walked into the Zebulon branch to only see 2 familiar faces...I was glad to see 2...don't get me wrong but where are the others... possibly in the unemployment line..I understand that FNB wanted a piece of the action...but they should've known that this real estate flipping business was like a house of cards and should have seen that some of the developers were in way over their heads. Some of this can be blamed on our government who under Clinton decided that everyone should own a home but not all of FNB closure can be put off on the government. However, if the government can get the number of financial institutions lower and get more of the smaller more people owned ones out they'll have an easier time moving their agenda into place! Devaluing the US $ and moving us to a one world currency!!

I pesonally saw upstart Homebuildes and even established ones who had been doing business with United in the late 90's and early 2000 flock to FNB for better deals and esier money to carry them as they started new house to pay for ones already built. And United smiling like the Cheshire Cat.

I do not know if you are new to this blog but let me give you some advice. These folk do not like any information that comes directly from any book including history books and the Bible. Actual quotes from people are not welcome either. It is very hard for these --- backwards bigots to uphold there "beliefs" when you throw facts at them. If you keep this up you will have them crying like a baby in no time. I think I hear one starting to whine now...................

Bin Laden. He showed America that they aint s--t. I think the country needs to realize that their armed forces and CIA are a joke. If change is not made, a man walking around in the desert and living in a cave will teach the U.S. another lesson. And then he is the star of his own hit series that he produces and films himself. But I think he just does that to show he can take on everything America has to offer. I can just imagine what he thinks of our military and CIA. One man has succeeded putting America to shame, created a war costing America billions, and lived to tell about it. I wish America would have got his a$$.
