But there is a reason why they are playing there and not at the public school. Whole different ball game, they are both good at their own level.

These guys can play some awesome football, but the most important quality they possess is GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP! CrossPointe Christian Academy was paid a high compliment by their rival team, Faith Christian Academy this year. Faith's Athletic director called CCA's and told them they had more sportsmanship than any team they have played all year. The CrossPointe Cavaliers not only win, they do it with honor, character and dignity.

The reason they are playing there and not at a public school is because they don't attend public school! They attend a school and happen to play football. They don't choose which school to go to based on where they might play!

The Cavs are an amazing team. Hard work and determination pays off. They have had to overcome lots of adversity in the three short years they have been a team. Earlier in the season unexpectedly their practice location was changed and their weight equipment was stolen. Truly a Facing the Giants story. I love the paper following their sucess. Keep it up!

Well, that was just plain rude. You know we are all here in Pike Co. Why can't we just be supportive of the teams that represent this county that we live in. I rejoice in Pike's wins. I don't put them down. I thought it was awesome they beat McIntosh b/c they are a team from my old stompin' ground. I have watched CrossPointe play every week and there are some boys on that team that could go head to head with some of the best 11-man teams out there. I have no doubt about it. #82 could rock somebodies world, I call him "the bus". #2 and #19 are twin brothers and they are an unstoppable duo, you might want to listen to them on 101.1fm for their Friday night interview. ;) #14, #7, #22 could easily play for any public school football team. These boys have worked their tails off this year and deserve credit for their accomplishments. Thank you very much!

Hey....Why not be supportive of this school! Those of us that choose to send our kids there pay to send ours there and also support Pike schools by paying our school taxes...helping send yours there!!! Let's just all get along!! Thanks Walter for covering our team!!!!
