Water woes delay Molena's CDBG project

Molena council held an informal discussion at its Sept. 13 meeting to determine why the Community Development Block Grant has not produced any visible signs of progress. For several months members of council have expressed concern over Precision Planning, the grant administrator.

What should we expect? We should not even be incorporated as a City. Our mayor thinks she is pretty and only won by one vote (hers).
Not a single council member won by the votes of the people, just signed up. It is easy for the WRT to up it's figure to $50,000 from $10,000 because you have professionals working with Pumpkin Heads (dumb). Everybody wants a cut.

Let the city increase the rates on all us little dummies. Then maybe we all should send them bills for dogs that drink the water and grow three ears, new car paint peeling off after a wash job and don't even think about eating veggies watered with the Molena water, they are easy to find because they glow in the dark. No telling what the water is doing to Pike County Fire Trucks tanks. Might want to get your own pipes checked out by a doctor.

But we do have new sidewalks, pretty police cars parked everywhere and a Spalding County Diving Emergency Van right outside city hall. If you need police help dial 911, you will not get a Molena Police Chief but they will send a Pike Sheriff Deputy.

Citizens of Molena check your new tax notice, what service do you get for your tax dollar?
Where are our firetrucks? Why did Georgia Power cut power on our firehouse?

Nay, don't think Obama wants a cut from the WRT's bid, damn there is too many fingers in the uranium water now.

Remember Chernobl Russia? 4,000 dead and the ground will be hot for 2000 years. Three Mile Island USA? We don't have a atomic reactor to worry about in Molena but we got the uranium. So we have been dealt Lemons, turn it into Lemon-aid. We could sell our water to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of IRAN to help him build a bomb. In return we all could buy bottled water from the sale.

Why does the City of Griffin have their clean water reservoir at our door steps? Why can't we tap it?

I'd bet Molena Pike Bank employees are supplied with bottled water.

OMG, please tell me the poor people at the nursing home are not being force fed uranium water!

Is the Molena water safe for my septic tank? I noticed the grass no longer grows green on top of the septic tank. Looks like it was hit with straight round-up.

That explains all the blogs from Molena. Maybe they can make a recovery drinking bottled water. I doubt it though.

You can thank our worthless police chief who lives in Concord for all the empty police cars and that spalding county van sitting around. The man even has a boy "sidekick" helping him and still nothing gets done. You are right about the mayor thinking she is pretty, these wrt people saw easy pickens so who can blame them?

He is not only our police cheif, he also gets paid to be the head of public works, (collect trash, sweep streets, fix pot holes and whatever else needs doing). That includes deal with this CDBG issue, which he has not done and is why we are all talking about it now. He knows how to park cars and he does have a "sidekick" to pal around with. Maybe he should go work full time in Concord where he lives. Opps, he already has tried and they laughed in his face.

His main title that he is so proud of is City Manager and Mayor's Aide. During the Mayor's absence (unless he is with her) he assumes the duties of Mayor. He has taken over the City Clerks office and Helen can't find a thing now. Oh FYI he moved all his fleet of police cars around yesterday.

So the chief now has a sidekick? Is this like the Andy and Barney deal? I wonder if there is a aunt Bea involved. Thank you mayor for putting us, our water and city on the map. You make us so proud. Ah, Let them eat cake. Mail out those tax notices, that should shut em up for a while.

Crime in Molena must be through the roof. What crimes are being neglected in Molena? I will get this resolved at the next city council meeting. Just let me know what needs to be done to lower the crime rate.

A good start would be to breakup the brothers meeting place at the Molena service station. They park their cars and trucks right by the dumpster break out their cell phones and do business. Some hang around the front door preventing customers from entering. Drugs in Molena? You bet. Chief Andy was afraid to break them up.

Pike county sheriffs department has failed to handle this issue for you? I have never had a problem in 15 years at that service station. Sounds like you know the right time to go. Dope is sold everwhere. This country accepts it and profits off it. Yes America loves drugs! Always has always will. Its the rapes, robberies, auto thefts, and murders I am asking about. If you truly feel unsafe why do you live there. Is it for the drinking water?

When I flush my toilet during the night a big blue flame erupts from it. Do you think it could be the uranium or the Mexican food, or maybe a combo of the two. I've called Homeland Security and at the moment cannot send inspectors.

I will let the MAYOR KNOW: There is a TEA party in Molena, if she thinks she can't be replaced with some one else she is thinking wrong... She also has told the new police chief that she don't want any speeding tickets written in Molena! MAYOR go through GREENVILLE and speed and see what happens, that mayor CONTROLS his city unlike you!!! TRAFFIC SPEEDING has gotten out of hand in this town on 18 and 109.. I will not vote for her again in the next election, from talking to other folks they feel the same too... Where's the NEW FIRE STATION MAYOR??????? Mayor You still buying bottle water to drink???? I know you are, I SEEN YOU AT THE STORE!!!

I can tell you why crime is through the roof in Molena,Ga.. Your police chief is going to all these police chief confrances on Molena tax dollars that cost out the a--! He is always talking to the power co. to have the power turned off to the fire sta. because he is mad at pike co for pulling the plug on the pike spalding dive team and he could not be incharge of.Now you know why that van sits in Molena he wants everyone to know he is on a dive team. Mabybe If he spent more time with the city rather than he does with that van you people could get something done in molena.LESS CRIME,BETTER WATER!!!!!!!
