Investigators know where Donna Ogletree Johnson’s body was found.

They know where her car was found – though many, if not all, believe that scene at the dumpster site was staged.

What they don’t know is where she was tortured and killed.

Has this person contacted GBI with all this information? Is GBI ignoring this case, too? Something is so weird in all this. I wonder if a policeman, sheriff, deputy, etc killed her and everyone is covering it up.

It is about time that somebody takes a LOCAL, BRUTAL, QUARTER OF A CENTURY OLD MURDER serious, isn't it? How can anyone down play this brutality?

I am so sorry to be the one to have to make this call Anonymous. But your daughter has been hogtied, sodomized, cut, gagged, run over and then beat-to-death. Evidence shows that she put up a mighty fight, but she still lost. She suffered a long time before she was allowed to die. You will get over it in a few years, and feel all better. Time heals all wounds. Just pray and put it in Jesus' hands. As years pass, the various levels of law will just think about the event when they are reminded of it through various meaningful anniversaries. They will only remember then because some people like Walter Geiger and Donna's sister Becky refuse to let it die. The District Attorney will refuse to let Donna's facts go before the Grand Jury as if their are secrets that should be kept from the public. I do not know how our local law sleeps at night. But heck, Anonymous, it was just your daughter. The DA has more important pleas to make now. He does not have time to worry about that old brutal death of Donna's. The murderer(s) are probably still walking around today. So just be quiet and do not rock the boat, is that OK? Please?

Hell NO it AIN'T OK. There is evidence from a professional society that strongly indicates that SUFFICIENT evidence shows that the murderer is currently known and has been known by the DA and the local sheriff.

Just pray for a TOUGH Grand Jury that knows they got the power to over-ride all passed incompetent decisions and review the case evidence with a new set of eyes. The problem with people who stay in office too long is that they become complacent and appoint themselves as God. But the real God allowed our forefathers the knowledge to form a powerful team called The Grand Jury. Just pray we get a tough one who does not fear these meager elected (probably for the last time) officials.

I know a guy that raped his little step sister back around the same time. He brags about it saying nothing ever happened because the sheriff owed his grandmother a favor. I dont know who the sheriff was back then. I guess the ones that voted for him do. My only question is was he re-elected?

The sad part of this entire twenty year tragedy is the failure of communication with the public. It is sad that Americans as a whole, in today's society, are blindfolded. It exists in all levels of our own elected government levels. We elect people on the promise of their platform and assume they are honest and forthcoming. Then out of ignorance and the assumption that "they are doing a fair job" we slovenly re-elect them. I have followed this case closely during the last few weeks. It seems to me that the people are merely asking that the case be reviewed by a set of newly appointed eyes called the grand jury. I have honestly tried and cannot understand why Mr. Richard Milam himself would not promote that review. Perhaps he does not intend on seeking re-election, so the public opinion no longer matters in his scope of things.

Who was this lady? Was she kidnapped on the way to bible study or was she smoking dope and running with the wrong crowd. I mean being involved in drugs, witnessing drug activity, being able to identify drug dealers, and walking around high out of you mind is about half way to suicidal death to begin with. See this is what the people need to know. You can run this story for 100 years with no results with this type of information not being known. It is pretty obvious this was up close and personal. It was just too harsh. Some one with a grudge. Nobody goes through that much trouble to kill or rape anybody. And this guy that came forward? It seems like anytime someone wants to blame a crime on someone else, or actually does the crime and make up a person, there will always be a black man involved. If her own family doesnt want to help what do you expect from law enforcement. Seems like a miracle. I would look real close at the family. They might have not been the actual killers but know who and why but can not say because of some type of activity that they themselves were involved in. And known to the killer. And It could have been the reason she was killed. A "casualty of war" some would put it. Was any attempt made to hide the body, or did they want her to be found?

Let's do get real with it. A person signed on as "Rumor has it" told this entire story about a secret room of murder in my nephew, Marvin Goldman's house. She said a friend went there the morning of the murder and blood was splashed from the secret room to the front door. When asked, my nephew, who palled with Mike Johnson and Kerry Elmore said they had killed a deer. I encouraged this person to call the GBI, local sheriff or Walter at the paper. I even personally notified authorities and said, "There is a concrete block room in that house in case you need to investigate. " They said, We have nothing to search for." So evidently the prospect of Donna Johnson's blood was not significant to authorities. So bitch to the authorities people, Mike Johnson helped to clean the house after the death of my brother. The GBI does not care. So why should you worry? Then you have the trailer also reported with the copycat or real murder scene? So what do we Do? Me in this case, unless there is a luminol shortage, I would check both locations. But the authorities do not see it that way. So, I want you to relax knowing that the GBI has been notified and has informed me that he reads the blogs to stay informed on the case. "EVEV" nor do I understand how your running for office
would make me your "public servant". I think you've got that
backwards Ms. Tolley.

There seems to be a lot of that on the blogs from this story....men who obviously don't care what women think. Hell, they think this story of a mutilated murder victim is "old." They're probably secretly hoping the monster don't get caught. Dark ages, indeed!

What's gender got to do with anything? You're the one who brought that up, not me. I would like nothing better than to see the butcher or butchers who committed the crime in question found guilty in a court of law and hanged on the courthouse lawn for all to see!

For the record, I hold most women in high regard. That regard has been enhanced by a godly mother and a wife who is a lady of the first order. Both enjoyed and/or enjoy being in the kitchen where they have displayed outstanding
culinary skills. It's been my observation most women who thrash the kitchen as a "womans place" aren't very good there.

My problem is not reading the opinions of women (or men for that matter). My problem is found with people whose exalted opinion of themselves makes it necessary in their minds to expound on any and everything most which they know nothing about. These people bring to mind a quote by Winston Churchill. In observing a political adversary walking away, he remarked to a friend "But for
the grace of God, there goes God!".

If any Pike County assessors read this blog, I suggest they take another look at your low property assessment if it is worth "over a million dollars."
My measly 20+ acres and home is assessed higher than yours.
Do you "know" somebody at the assessor's office? Preferential treatment?

The structures on your property appear to be falling down and ready to be condemned while my property is maintained daily. That isn't right.

If your property taxes were raised, there would be no need to levy new taxes on outdoor storage buildings in Pike. Problem solved!

Most would agree with me that Donna is a wildly eccentric soul, and always has been. There were many outlandish stories, even when she was in her teens. Reading this, I just assumed it was more of the same.

You are right- no one deserves to be abused for any reason. If she was abused, she in no way deserved it. I was wrong to write that post, and I apologize for what I said.

Maybe she is loony. But she can be loony and still be victimized. Some people have things about them that make them easier targets and predators use that in their own favor. (I.e. pedophiles frequently target and groom children who are starved for attention or who are neglected.)

Just from these blogs, I have seen people show up to really bash Donna at every turn. If she is nutty, let her be nutty and leave her the hell alone. The attacks make me more inclined to believe her.

Donna Marie is hardly a victim. That country girl can kick most Pike County men's butt. She also seeks sympathy for her failings.

I blogged a rebuttal to her lying post #21 and the PCJR chose not to publish it. I presented facts in a way to steer Donna Marie away from her ramblings of persecution in hopes she would veer back to normal. It was not a nasty or vindictive piece, but an organized sensible presentation. She brought her child into the fray and acts like she is Beaver Cleaver's mother. Not true!

If the PCJR prints this reply, why not the other one? If they don't print this, only the PCJR and I will know that and it will be business as usual with Donna Marie's slanted blog. If I am censored in my reply to #21, why not censor ALL comments not on topic with any subject article?
