Sleep wouldn’t come so the TV clicked on.
The clicker landed on what used to be known as a ‘spaghetti western’.
A group of miners had been beaten down repeatedly and were about to give up their claims to the big mining company executive when gunfighter-turnedpreacher Clint Eastwood showed up and emboldened the miners to stay the course.

The American taxpayer is definitely fed up with being the workhorse while everyone else get's to do what they want with no consequence to their actions.
my point was that somewhere along the line they worked for it.
they didn't sit around and wait for the government to give it to them.
that ain't the way the world works. if you earn your way you make a way. if you wait for a handout, you sit right where you are. when are you free-bees going to get over this bull and just get to work.
quit making excuses and just get to it.
And your right, they dont sit around waiting for the government to give it to them. They have enough money to buy members of our government and supreme court first and then it takes no time to get it. They control what is legal and what is not and now there is no limit to what corporations can contribute to elections..nice. Regulation is bad for their business. Who needs clean drinking water and unpolluted oceans if it stands in the way of making that all-mighty dollar in a very legal yet morally corrupt way.
I read an interesting story once about trying to squeeze a camel through the eye of a needle...
Employs 135,000 people.
I'm guessing those welfare recipients aren't keeping anyone employed. except maybe the local pimp and/or drug dealers.
Has made 10,000 of his long term employees millionaires.
I'm guessing those welfare recipients haven't made a single person a millionaire. though i'm sure the local pimp and/or drug dealer has his fingers crossed.
keep dreaming about the day when you might be right about something. it'll happen.
he's been investigated over and over and not a single conviction.
if he stole windows, why isn't he in jail? because he didn't.
just because you've made bad choices in life that's kept you from becoming anything of consequence doesn't mean that all rich people stole their money to get it.
are there crooks that are rich? sure. are there people who need public assistance? absolutely.
are 90% of the people on public assistance there because of their own choices? WITHOUT A DOUBT.
I never said all rich people are crooks. But when they are, it is more devastating and the consequences are far reaching, the impact is global. I don’t worry about the small time people on public assistance, Im concerned about the big dogs whos lack of morality affects the rest of us.
And Im also not sure where the 90% figure comes from. Facts are funny things.
take a look at the federal budget and you will quickly see that the largest budget items are the give-away programs. madhoff only affected a small group of guess what RICH PEOPLE. he stole money from people who already had money.
in the meantime they get foodstamps, section 8 housing, free healthcare.
as they get in their 20 year old chevy malibu with 2500 dollar rims.
so not only are they doing something stupid by even buying the things when the taxpayer is paying for the food. but they are leasing them so that at the end of the day the taxpayers have paid for NOTHING.
