Pike County runoff election results

Unofficial election results for the General Primary Runoff show Republican gubernatorial candidate Nathan Deal receiving 61% of Pike County votes over Republican candidate Karen Handel. The candidate who wins the runoff will face off against Democrat Roy Barnes in the November election.

Pike County voting results will be official Friday, Aug. 13 and statewide results will be released next week. Of 1,874 total votes, Deal received 1,154 and Handel received 720 in the county.
