Lets just pray that Mack Crawford puts justice ahead of politics and doesn't automatically dole out overly harsh sentences so that he can be notorious and feared. After all, that is what Paschal English and Caldwell did, and they proved to be hypocritical, immoral, and unethical but loved to "light them on fire" when those "fools" got their day in court (direct quotes from an article written by the DA Ballard, who thinks he's some sort of wild west hero). I hope that Judge Crawford will consider the individual circumstances of each case and rule with a balanced and fair hand.

Ballard had his PR article in one paper this week. He spoke of heinous crimes and compared the k9 who died chasing a suspect to the crime of child molestation.

That's funny. He testified to help a child molester get out on parole while DA. He apparently doesn't think the crime is too heinous.

ALLEGEDLY:

It was a previous client of his and he drove down soon after being elected DA of our district to testify at his parole hearing. He was successful in his bid to have him released. From what I can put together, he was arrested on a parole violation about 1 year after Ballard helped him get out and remained in prison until June of this year. He now resides in Fayetteville.

I think that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard...UNFAIR & HARSH?? Seriously, the majority of those that go before the judges get probation...how harsh!! They could have to serve time in a cushy jail cell, with free cable and lots of free time! I say, if you commit a crime, you serve the time, ya knew the consequences going in, be prepared to live with them...

Dorothy, Mack Crawford knocked me down at Home Depot on purpose. My husband at the time told me to go to check on my rental property, and to go by Home Depot and get some blinds for the house. He got mad because I didn't want to go.

I was being followed everywhere I went and was run off the road several times. I took pictures of them and did my best to get the tag numbers.
I made the mistake of going to the sheriff and reporting what I knew at the time. A few days later my husband at the time repeated in a condensed version in proper order everything I had reported.

He didn't marry me till my mother died, then wanted me to get a pile of life insurance. I was his retirement plan. I die in a "accident". He inherits my farm and the life insurance doubles because I died in a accident.

The reason I'm posting this is to warn women! They need to know what to expect when seeking help!

They back the man up no matter what his history!

I am back. The general public probably did not have the pleasure of knowing my Aunt Ozarlean Barron. The Sheriff's office would have never heard of her because she made Granny Clampett look calm. She was a Christian my entire life and I am sixty now. She did not bother anyone but she did not allow anyone to run over her or the people that she loved. Anyway, many years ago, I got my first of a few DUI tickets in my life. It was before the mothers got mad and MADD was founded. The fine was small compared to today, of coarse. My numbers will be off but the facts are sound. I borrowed the money to pay the fine from my Aunt Ozarlean so my husband would not start moaning about me getting the ticket. The ticket was $300.00. I asked Billy Riggins how should I write the check. He said, and I quote: "You can make it out for $200.00 to Billy Riggins or $300.00 to The Pike County Sheriff's Department." So I decided to play it safe to cover my, what was then, small a$$. I wrote a check To Billy Riggins for $200.00 and a check to The Pike County Sheriff's Department for $100.00. I could not wait for my checks to clear the bank, because that would confirm or deny my opinion of his honesty. The one check to Billy did come back endorsed by Billy and put into his personal account. The $100.00 check has never turned up. The answer is simple to me. He had to destroy the ticket and pocket the $200.00 so the $100.00 check had to be destroyed since it did not match any pending tickets to me. That probably does not equal "cooking the books" but he was at least "preheating the oven." I thank you Billy for making Politics a little easier to understand. I paid my Aunt Ozarlean back in three installments of $100. She made it clear ahead of time to bring her cash because she did not trust banks. SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SHERIFF!

Gosh Donna Jo! I was not aware of all your troubles. Did the "Mack Attack" happen before OR after you were locked up in the nut house in Columbus? I find it hard to believe that Mack Crawford would intentionally knock a woman down. Do you hear voices when you have these feelings of abuse and persecution? Are you a heavy drinker?

It was shortly after I had reported what I knew at the time, and my husband had repeated it to me. I was run off the road by the law put in hand cuffs sent to Columbus.

I was there for 16 days doped up on drugs, while my husband was here destroying as much evidence as he could find.

I was also locked up at Columbus in 2006 when I blessed out Jimmy Thomas. Pike doesn't have a place for women except for hand cuffed to a steel bench on a cement floor.

After looking at the drug test and VD test they couldn't figure out why I was there. They came to this conclusion after 3 days time I'm Self reliant, High self esteem, and above average intelligence. I wasn't on drugs this time. In 2003 they doped me up. (Don't do Drugs)!

Polly, I love that name Polly. I had a wonderful Aunt Polly.

No! I don't hear voices, Yes I do drink beer! Did you know I date a man who I've known for over 25 years. He runs a Alcohol & Drug treatment center now. He deals with addicts every day. I have 1 weakness cigarettes.

Just because I lived with my husband doesn't mean I did drugs or was ever suicidal, violent, or ever killed people.

I have done drugs to some extent. There was a doctor attached to the other end of the needle.

Your Alcohol/Drug Counselor/Boyfriend appears to need refresher courses to intervene on your behalf if you constantly 'suck the suds' and 'suck on cancer sticks' knowing these habits cause you problems. I Guess love really is blind. I hope you don't have anymore 'Mack Attacks' and Jimmy Thomas doesn't toss you into the Columbus facility again for your own good. Please don't drink and drive because you will surely be nabbed AGAIN! It's expensive.

Polly, my advice is to disregard Ms. Tolley's unsolicited advice to use Frontline. That chemical concoction is baaaaad, verrry baaad for the environment. Instead, I suggest watching Frontline on PBS. PBS "Biography" is a great program. Free advice for Donna Jo and Ms. Tolley, beware of ticks...especially deer ticks. I hope Donna Jo doesn't get any flea or tick bites and blame "them". I don't think the Sheriff would believe that story either. Pop-A-Top again!

I would disagree Dorothy. Caldwell and English for years abused the system, brought disgrace on our community and resigned to keep their pensions and avoid investigation. Justice was not served and their friends at the state level are working to keep it that way.

No, I was conducting business and calling lawyers. I was the one who walked in with payment books, a checking account, tax papers, bills, and money.

Not to mention a farm and 3 rental property's.

They wanted me passed out or on drugs half the time. That was 2003. I can't do drugs and handle business!

I have a list of the drugs they forced me to take. One thing I can say is they never took blood to see if I was doing drugs or drinking.
I was as clean then as I am now!

As I said I can't help what all my Ex has done. I have no control over other people.

Dear Polly, I was in the Upson hospital close to death when I got those drugs. And no! "My Boy friend" as you call him wouldn't put up with me if I had a problem. He knows me better than that. He doesn't want to deal with that on his time off.

Could it be that you have a problem with the fact I'm right. It surely does stink!

A woman with no close blood kin alive sought help because she was being followed and on occasion run off the road. (My child with me sometimes!)

Let's look at it another way: If I get my husband killed I gain 3 acres in Griffin with a single wide trailer home. Plus 2 rental trailers in a trailer park and pay lot rent.

If on the other hand if I die he would have gained my 80 something acre farm with in a half mile of Zebulon. Plus 3 rental property's with payment's to make. Plus double indemnity on the life insurance.

Why couldn't they see the facts here. What could be blinding them. Money, Land, What!?

My Ex's history is plain to see. Other people looking at it say I'm lucky to be a live.

Teresa Mangham and Jennifer Clark are also a live!

Those are not my problems.

My problems are not being able to get a job.
I recently found out I'm On a FBI criminal list!


1. My pets being killed. 6 so far.
2. My property being destroyed or stolen.
3. My house being broke in to several times. 6 that I know of.
4. My phone line tore out several times. (Seeking help!)
5. My well pump switch messed with 4 or 5 times till it burnt up. ( I caught them one time but I didn't know what they were up to.) I brought a new well switch, but they were adjusting it so my pump run all the time so it burnt up.
6. They tore my rental property's up and stole my tools and equipment that were there.

If you were me what would you do?

Tell the Truth!

I don't give a darn who it ticks off!

Huh? You "caught them"? Let us know who "them" are. What didn't you put a cap in "them" a$$? Did you report "them"? WHAT are YOU doing while "them" is busy adjusting your pump? I would watch for "them" with a trusty ol' shotgun. You sure do have a lot happening to you. Does anyone else besides you "see" these events. You have some issues that you need to work on. BTW: what kinds of crops do you grow on the farm?

A friend who read it said, "Their jealous or have a heck of a inferiority complex."

They didn't catch on that there's several witnesses and paper work backing me.

Yes, I am worried about Donna Jo, just as much as I would be worried about you or anyone else who has phantom "them" perpetrating crimes against you. There must underlying factors as to why Donna Jo has not caught "them" in the act for the numerous alleged criminal acts.

If any real "evidence" of crimes against her were true, the PCSO would most likely investigate her claims as required by law.
I don't understand why she didn't prosecute "them" when she caught "them" damaging her well pump. Were any of the alleged "6 house breakins" incidents and pet deaths reported to the police?

polly this type of things can AND DO happen. all you need is a vengeful ex. to make your life a living hell.i was told.... if you leave me, i will make your life a living hell. i had a car sugared, dog killed, lies spread while ex. trades out lawyer fees to a part time city judge and lawyer. lost job, house and finally had to move out state. You people can knock Donna Jo around all you like.....but I will guarantee you, in the end.......somebody, somwhere, at some point in the legal system has handled something either in an illegal or unethical manner or covered something up. I got my first threat to my email after I defended Donna Jo on a blog. And to the writer of the threat: Send another one, I just forward them right on to three newspapers so that when they print my obit, the law will have a starting point. I hear that. I tell everyone and document everything. I give copies to multiple sources and keep copies in multiple places.

We can use our anonymous names all day long, but the law can find us if they want to.

All they need is a little paper that says it's done legally...

I used to want to be in law enforcement before seeing all of the politics. It is seeing things like innocent women & children getting beat and no one helping her because of who the man is. It is from seeing someone like Edgar Frye virtually get away with murder because of who he was. It comes from seeing a DA help a child molester get free and get another chance because of who he knows. It creates an impression after a while.

I want people in charge who care about human rights and decency. I want leaders who care about people whether or not they support the opponent.

When did we become a nation that will sell it's soul to the highest bidder or to the person who can get us more votes or dollars? The hand-basket to hell has arrived. Jump aboard!

I have never met Mack Crawford in my life so I have a neutral opinion of him. I have met Jimmy Thomas, respect him and he deserves my vote if he runs again. I am convinced, just as I am in Donna Johnson's case, somewhere in the past...something was mishandled. Others that I have always respected are Robert Thomas, Jackie Caraway, John Hollis. Everyone has opinions. This is mine.
