Pike schools' millage increases on bond debt and on maintenance and operations are necessary because of an artificially low millage on debt for three years and a decreased tax digest for determining M&O millage, schools finance director Kenneth Carter said last week.

If you have 11 acres then 10 acres can be kept in conservation use valuation assessment - the other one should not.
