District 2 Commission

Parrish Swift: 252

Tamra Jarrett: 324

State Rep. 127 District

Billy Maddox: 1,567

Spencer Price: 743

With only a few votes left to be counted, Maddox led Price 3356-2126 districtwide and has won this race.

I just cannot understand the figures. Think Cave Peoples were involved? I will give a full report on PNN (Pike Network News) in the morning. Could be voter fraud. Who has ever heard of Jarrett and Maddox? I predict Commisioner Willis will win by a landside and SPLOST will pass in November. Thank you for your support.

One down and one more to go. Willis has "Gain Benefits" on the county with underhanded deals with his fellow commissioners. Voting himself a Tax Refund on his property taxes and hauling rock for the County with the vote of the commissioners. Parrish enjoy that well and well house off the taxpayers dollar.

I agree. I've never understood why there isn't better voter turnout.

I guess a lot of people are so discouraged that their government isn't listening that they've decided to just quit worrying about it.

It's a shame really that the citizens are so turned off by government that they don't even want to express their choice.

If you study the records and attend all the meetings like I do you will see Commissioner Willis has proven his abilities. Voters in district 1 have until November to decide.

i'm guessing you've never been to a meeting and are somehow kin to willis.

for those of you unaware, willis and the rest of the BOC have spent pike county into the ground. we are borrowing $800,000 in order to finish the fiscal year that was only 8 months long. that's overspending by $100,000 a month.

"whatu talkin bout willis?" is on his way out just like parish swift.

the other 3 will be gone in 2.

We will all miss Parrish. I have already stated I miss him and it showed at the millage rate meeting. Had it not been for Parrish Swift I would not have been appointed to the Planning and Development Board.
