By Kay S. Pedrotti
For Kevin Anthony, his brother and three friends, a lazy trip down the Flint River on inner tubes was an unforgettable experience. Five young adults from Pike County, ages 18 to 24, left Highway 18 bridge in Pike County Saturday, intending to tube to Sprewell Bluff. They didn’t quite make it.

The water is calm at Highway 18 bridge where five young adults started tubing down the river.

They were cold? What get out of the water and walk back the way you came. Duh and drink the river water. Other than a little bacteria that could be cleared up. I think you would be fine. As far as cold. Good grief what state are they in, at 10:00 at night it is still 90 degrees out side. They must have ran out of beer.
