Griffin circuit district attorney Scott Ballard and chief public defender Joseph Saia are expected to schedule a news conference this week to reveal the results of their probe into allegations of an inappropriate relationship between a former judge Paschal English and public defender Kimberly Cornwell.

The real issue is not if the judge was having an "affair." The real issue is did he commit adultery?

NO Mr. D.A. The issue is not whether the Judge was having an affair or not. The issue is whether there is any Judicial Misconduct. The affair will be between him and his family. You were not tasked with investigating personal matters. Affairs are carried on everyday. Right or wrong, that is our sociey as it stands. You should stay focused on the correct investigation.

I know from experience just what inappropiate relationships are all about! Not from the Judicial side but from the Pike Board of Education. So until you walk in my shoes put a cap on it! I know what I'm talking about!

Pike Patriot Homeowner, I have spent most of the day researching Uniform Court Rules, I still cannot find where Adultery is Judicial Misconduct. Would you please tell me what Rule # that is,( since you know what you're talking about).

Pike Patriot Homeowner, why don't you get a ruling from Chief Henderson? He knows all, sees all and has done all. Gosh, some here in PC act as if he is the supreme being. Go axe him, he can tell you if there is/was Judicial Misconduct.

So glad to hear that someone can finally see the truth about Chief Henderson...he is very smart maybe not the supreme being, but close. He might not know all but knows more than most. He might not see all but he sees enough. He is a wonderful man that I have known for years and I trust him. Is he perfect? No, but he sure comes close.

Sleeping with an attorney who tries cases in front of you has got to be misconduct. I am sure they weren't changing a tire in that subdivision.

Adultry with a lawyer who tries cases in front of you is MISCONDUCT! Canon 2 Public confidence in the judiciary is eroded by irresponsible or
improper conduct of judges.Judges must therefore accept restrictions on their conduct that might be viewed as
burdensome by the ordinary citizen, and they should do so freely and willingly
Judges shall participate in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing
high standards of conduct, and shall personally observe such standards of
conduct so that the integrity and independence of the judiciary may be
preserved.

I don't know about adultery being illegal, but sodomy is.

There is an obscure law in GA that makes "alienation of affection" illegal, too. It's usually used by wives that have been cheated on by husbands. So technically his wife could charge his mistriss with it in a divorce proceeding. Or in a civil trial, for that matter, and even collect damages.

Either way, it's a public concern if they were trading favors.

I do not know who has them on sale. However, If you are hungry, in need of help, need a ride to the doctor, a ride to the drug store, a balanced homecooked meal delivered or your animals are in need then I'm easy to find. Ask those I have helped.
