Here we go.............just keep in mind that your employers, especially big companies, do not really WANT to insure you any longer. They are already calculating the amount of the fine they can pay in order to eliminate being involved in the business of insurance. You may expect a nice pay increase at Caterpillar in the near future but save it to pay for your own insurance.
Thanks obama.
I have this insurance. Get it thru employer. Don't have a choice of what plan to get. Can't afford individual.
We have $2400.00 deductible/year. can't pay full price for dr, meds, etc. until ded. is met.
So it's like we dont' have insurance at all.
We can't opt out of insurance thru the employer.
Interestingly, the letter is very similar to the one I received from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The hospitals affected are the Tenet hospitals. There are 5, including Griffin hospital. Funny SRMC doesn't tell you that in their letter. I wonder if they would like to be inundated with calls demanding that as a local community hospital that they deal with all insurance companies in their local area?
Irritates me that I will have to go to Henry Co Medical and Fayetteville as the nearest in- network hospitals. I, however, don't throw all the blame on Blue Cross Blue Shield. Both companies are for profit.
obama and the current democrats ARE the ones that have enacted the income tax on health care benefits so whether the system was broken before or not is irrelevant and a matter of opinion.
what IS FACT is that the current administration will be taxing your health insurance benefits that your company is providing.
Actually, you need people like us with an understanding of cause and effect as well as superior logic skills to keep this country running so that people like you can complain without actually solving anything.
Life would be less angry for you if you didnt take things so personally. You dont have to read the posts, and you dont have to assume people are talking to you. But if you felt the need to respond to the small minds comment, then you obviously thought the shoe fit.
I almost died in 2008. I was told if I had waited a day or two I could have died. I was sent to Upson Hospital and kept there for 10 days.
In two months I was back for the same thing. I spent 5 days this time. They told me to bring my tax records and proof of income when it came time to pay the bill.
They told me to apply for food stamps! Wow!
I gained 20 lbs. in what seemed like no time. I'm still not over weight.
I had laid there worried about the bill and how I was going to bury myself if it went bad.
They had told me it was based on income. All the income I have is a few cows, and on that I'm lucky to have a phone and lights. (Sometimes I don't). Upson said I qualify for their indigent fund. They wrote it off.
The second time they told me I needed a special kind of doctor. I found one in Griffin. He ordered a CT scan and another doctor ordered a MRI at Spalding hospital.
I thought it was going to be like Upson was based on my income. I should say it is based on my income! Every dime I make in a years time. If you live on less than 5 thousand a year Spalding Griffin hospital wants it...
I could have cancer and I can't do a thing in the world about it. Tenet and I have been back and forth on it. When I didn't have lights for a couple of months they still called and got mad because a friend helped me with the phone bill.
I still have flare ups with my pancreas but I'm tiring to control it. There's not much I can do to control it. The other stuff I won't mention. It's not bothering me yet.
