Relay raises $33,000 for research

Pike County's annual Relay for Life raised around $33,000 at the all-night event at Jack Pilkenton Field on May 21. This year's theme was Making More Birthdays Means Less Cancer. Hundreds of people came to support and honor cancer survivors and patients.

This is wonderful news for our community. Appears to be a massive amount raised in a short period of time. We need additional funds for our Patriot Fireworks on July 3rd (I love fireworks). Think maybe some of that money coulds be donated to my fireworks program?

You want fireworks then you need to start fundraising! The teams and team members worked hard to raise this money! And it wasn't in a short amount of time! This fundraising is all year long! Now I don't know how you could post such a rude comment with that precious little girl's picture posted above! This sweet angel is fighting hard for her life you need to be asking how you can help so that no other child will have to face this! And yes Susan we do love you!

Yes indeed, we do love you Susan and wish you well. Chill out, Jennifer. The commissioners have already agreed that they really messed up in their Teen Challenge approval. They are going to bill TC Florida for all county law expenditures and time. They are wising up...election time has a way of doing that. I heard that check was deposited by FAG before TC Florida wrote it. Is David Copperfield a FAG? It must be magic.

These slimy ridiculous trouble making post were posted by George J. Mickle. The disgraced former bldg inspector of Pike County.
Walter Gieger and Company know this and continue to allow Him to post all this ridiculous divisive stuff. George is upset because I will delete or ban this kind of stuff from the Pollcat. That's why you see it all here. He could care less who He hurts or how many people He upsets. Don't know if Walter will allow this post so I'm saving a copy.

No way JC would have posted something about George being disgraced. JC would never try and talk to a professional journalist like Walter Gieger and Company. The Pollcat ratings have nose dived so if JC really did post this I would think he is trying to increase numbers. The big difference between a journalist and JC is they do not reveal posters nor IP numbers.

Never would I believe JC Morrison would post something like this. I know for a fact George Mickle has taken Morrison to the hospital in Birmingham numerous times at his own expense. I know for a fact that George has bought dog food for him and medicine for his dogs. George has gone to the grocery store for JC and filled the cart at his own expense to feed him. George has cut the mans grass. Ask the man if this is the person he calls DISGRACED.
The George I know from the heart helps people and animals.

You used the word Patriot but if this is the real Pollcat regulator the only thing that I see you patronizing is your Ms. Know It all Lady Friend you hang around with like a little blind puppy sniffing for a scent.
Instead of you and her having so much fun, you all may need to start funds earlier in the year if you want the fireworks so bad. I could care less if Pike Co has fireworks or not, but I DO CARE ABOUT SUSAN AND HOPING FOR HER TO CONTINUE TO GET BETTER AND GET TREATMENT WITH FUNDS RAISED IN PIKE COUNTY.

Little help from my friends pleeze. We are less than 3 weeks off from my Patriot Fireworks Show. We are $875.54 short. I'm asking the good peoples of Pike County to come forward and donate the balance. Pretty Pleeze.
