The Pike Pirates defeated the top-ranked Cook County Hornets 5-4 in the first game of a playoff doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at Jack Pilkenton Field.
Cook came back to win game two 8-6. The decisive third game is set for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
Pike's Kody Adams threw a three-hitter at the top-ranked team in Class AA Tuesday afternoon.
Pirates take game one 5-4; lose game two 8-6

the umpires made some terrible calles in game 2 we should have one that game.

I was wondering if anyone was going to bring up the umpiring. Terrible, the two behind the plate and the one on second in the second game. You would think with four of them out there it would be better, but it's 4x worst!
