Pimiento Fest set for Saturday

A festival to celebrate Pike County’s historic production of pimientos will be held Saturday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the courthouse square with entertainment for all ages.

Thank's go out to Roosevelt Willis, Sandy Danielson, Chief Henderson and JC Morrison for the contributions made in support of the bake sale tomorrow. Try your luck with a pie throw at Parrish Swift. We will have our fireworks for the July 3rd event.

Maybe i was there too early in the day, but the crowd was missing, the vendors were few, and the offerings were poor.

If the cost to participate was lower more would probably have a booth.
