The resignation of the longtime director of Georgia's Judicial Qualifications Commission is apparently tied to workload not the commission's successful recent demands for the resignations of former Griffin circuit judges Johnnie L. Caldwell Jr. and Paschal L. English Jr.
All government workers ae paid too much. In salary and benefits.
A State Government Worker

Obviously you've never tried to raise a family on the salary and benefits that most state government workers receive. Did you know that state employees insurance benefits are almost twice what the regular person pays? Did you know that as a state employee you are not allowed to use Peachcare for your children? Did you know that state employees have had no raise in about three years now but our insurance continues to go up?
I dealt with Cheryl Custer. I made a complaint against a judge and had it dismissed. She was a beeatch. She should have been fired long ago.
Of course you don't expect your complaint to always go through, but you expect the authority to at least deal with you politely and try to answer a few questions for you, so you at least know your complaint was heard.
When I called there and she answered and I politely asked a few basic questions, she kept repeating in a nasty, nasal voice the same stock answer, over and over, like "It is not in the authority of the JQC to undertake such investigations." Me "Why" Cheryl" It is not in the authroty of the JQC blah blah blah..." Repeat.
Unacceptable. And the woman made $80k a year for that? I'm glad the woman is gone. The new guy is much nicer.
