At around 3 a.m. Friday morning, a Pike County Sheriff's deputy initiated a traffic stop on Highway 19 at Shackleford Road. The driver of a white Ford Mustang pulled over briefly then sped away, according to a press release from the PCSO. The 2003 Ford Mustang was stolen from Spalding County.

Danny Chief ought to leave the strays alone and go look for a real job. The job market is tough, especially if you are working as an apprentice trying to become a chief. There is demand for experience these days and not OJT (on the job training). I spelled that out so some of his junior tee-shirt wearing hero’s knew what it meant.
