For those of us blessed with moms who have supported us in infinite ways throughout the years, Mother's Day is a small way to say "Thanks!" every year.

Wow. I haven't thought yet what I'm going to do for my mama. She is the best in the world. She is 'old school' which means she does what her husband says. I don't agree with a lot of it, but I wish I could have that loyalty.
SHe had children VERY young and ALWAYS put us first. She has had LOTS of troubles in raising us and handling my daddy, but she has not EVER complained about any of it. She could put a stop to lots of the bad things she's going thru, but I guess she is putting her family first instead of herself. I can say that I would not do the same if I were in her shoes.
So that makes her better than me.
I hate to see the day when she goes to heaven, but I will be glad to know that she will FINALLY have the peace and rest that she has earned.

My mom was my inspiration. See, she was born with 1 arm. Her other arm ended at her elbow. But this never slowed her down. She still went to college, could type 50 words a minute ,worked every day and raised 4 kids. Just think about trying to tie your kids shoes with 1 hand. Back in the day when we were babies all diapers were pinned on. Try pinning a diaper on a wiggly baby with 1 hand. She was just amazing. There was just nothing she couldn't do. Man do I miss her.
She love me and I loved her a lot. Wow I was so lucky to have such a great mom.
