Somebody catch me up please. Mindi gets off easy on 4/9, and then w/in a week, there is one resignation, and the soon after another. I know about the divorce case, and how that affected the judges, BUT..............am also hearing that Mindi got off so easy because of her posession of her little black book that names everyone in the southern hemisphere including the judges in question. Is there any truth to that? Will this mess ever end?

who's next you ask? read this little rendition from yet another of our 'professionals.' I was shocked and frankly, seriously disappointed in such . . .
Check out this newspaper column FROM one of our dedicated court personnel in Griffin District, specifically noting the professionalism in ethical? word choices describing his day in court:
Judge Paschal English is a good man. He is married and a family man. I don't any of the details, but I have only known him to conduct himself with honor and integrity.
It's about time for these judges to realize they are not above anyone who stands in front of them, except they were elected to fill a judgement position job. Usually they think because of power to make a determination in cases they are superior to any and all. Thank goodness we're getting rid of these men. Maybe some Habeas Corpus hearings in the future will help some of those who have been convicted and sentenced by these men. These Judges just know the words, "I will deny that motion" or "I deny your petition", etc. I don't think half of the time they even listened to what was going on in hearings and had their minds made up before they ever put on that POWERFUL BLACK ROBE and entered into the courtrooms.
I hear the governor may be involved too along with about 50 state representatives. This may be the best thing to come along in a long time. Let's send Susan to Atlanta and clean out everyone up there!
Susan would certainly fit right in in Atlanta. However, Susan ... to clean something up ?!? What a joke. Susan has some of the dirtiest hands of all in this.
In the future anyone running for public office should be required to take a lie detector test with appropiate questions toward integrity, past, present and future. This is surely a case of power corrupts and just plain ignorance. Guess this means the Weis case will go on forever. God forbid.
I cannot help finding irony in the fact that a divorce of Crook vs. Crook has left available jobs in our judicial system. We will be trying cases on line if out judges keep dropping out.
To All Attorneys that think you will be a SURVIVOR (there's that word again) in this Purge of Politicians, please contact JUDGEJUDY.COM when your case is ready for trial.
As Thomas Jefferson said, " The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
I hope we have enough nurses to go around. Maybe Bill Clinton will fill in--he only lost his law license for five years. Instead of a robe, he could wear Monica's blue dress. The blue dress is still in her home freezer. It's raining at my intersection.
I love you Rhett. Anyone who can remember how to spell that name correctly is fine in my book. Yeah, Marvin told me that quote once. I miss and love him.
Titanic's sister ship, Lawdy Lawdy Lizzy, may not sink as we previously anticipated. It seems that when Judges jump ship they are not endangered by the sharks. In an interview with Grandpa Shark, he pointed out that "We always raise our young sharks to avoid eating judges and lawyers that "run" with them. It is just "Professional Courtesy." As recent events are reviewed, we may be able to safely toss additional Public Officials into the ocean without them being endangered by sharks. Meanwhile, our lifeboats can be utilized to save people that may have been threatened by the Judges...I meant Sharks. Yeah, I meant Sharks. THROW THAT BLACK ROBE OFF THAT LIFEBOAT, and catch all those diaries before they get wet.
Word on the street is that Governor Sonny Perdue has some land that he wants to donate to Teen Challenge. We in Pike County are proud of you Sonny. Evidently they need more room to stretch their little legs.
Teen Challenge has a history of allowing sex offenders to work for them. """"One of the more decidedly shocking results of Teen Challenge setting up shop in states with little or no regulation of "Faith-based children's homes" is of a known multi-offense sexual assaulter and child molester running one of the Teen Challenge homes in Winthrop, ME--namely, Shondi Fabiano, listed officially as a co-head of Teen Challenge New England by the website of the Northern New England District of the Assemblies of God, and who is officially listed as a lifetime-registered sex offender for second-degree child molestation and sexual assault in the third degree. Fabiano apparently (at least per a search of the records site for Rhode Island's criminal courts) committed the crimes 10 years ago under her maiden name Shondi Barbato; she was originally charged with 1st degree child abuse (which involves sexual penetration of a child under the age of 14). It also appears Fabiano (under her maiden name of Barbato) has a wee bit of a chequered history even aside from kiddy-diddling; she has a conviction for fraud (specifically attempts to obtain money under false pretenses, insurance fraud, and conspiracy) and a dismissed charge of possession of a controlled substance.""""
I have been missing you Louise. Have you seen the Geico commercials with the little lizard? Do you remember the one in which the lizard gets sucked up by the vacuum like the ones used at bank windows. Move back about two inches Louise, good...now over to the right about one inch...SWOOSH!! Yeah, come on back now...you hear.
Judge English was over a case that I was in. My ex wasn't paying child support and the child support enforcement, NOT ME, took him to court. Nothing was done. No back pay, either. One year later, the same thing happened all over again. THe child support officer told the judge I wanted to talk to him. He was on the bench and I went up to him. I said, 'this same thing happened last year. You didn't make him pay anything, that's why we are back here.'
He actually said 'I see your point but I don't know what to do'. BECAUSE, this time my ex was in jail and COULDN"T pay.
He got out of jail 5 days later.
of course genius. When they don't pay, you take them to court. The judge puts them in jail. You are happy until you realize, hey, they can't work while in jail. What would you have the judge do?
The judge didn't put him in jail for not paying child support. He was ALREADY in jail on unrelated charges during this court case. Judge said he couldn't make him pay or go to jail for not paying child support because he was ALREADY in jail on unrelated charges.
He could have added to his jail time, make him pay when he got out, etc. But no, nothing.
Who's the genius?!?!

Judge English was also the judge in my divorce case against my ex-husband.He treated me like dirt and acted like i was a dog for leaving my abusing husband. If I had not spoke up for myself,i would have had to pay tremndous back child support to the sorry sucker i was married to for many years and supported!!
YOU GO LIVE WITH HIM JUDGE ENGLISH AND SEE IF YOU WANT TO STAY!!
The best thing he ever did was give me a divorce even if i did have to pay through the yang yang!!
Have you lost your mind, Dorothy. I married a sorry, rotten, scoundrel, thieving, pawning, non working, lying, alcoholic bum . BUT don't you ever accuse me of marrying a JUDGE. I am sending you back to the Wizard for a brain.
Another one bites the dust.....
English made a joke during my court hearing as well as Caldwell.....As for Caldwell having chest pains.....the hot seat isn't such a nice chair to sit in is it?!!!!!
Mindi is not as pretty as me and her little black book looks like a single page compared to my big book of IMPORTANT people. Judges are small potatoes compared to my list. She is crazy. She could be rich from that little list of hers, because Pike does not have important news. She blew it when she signed that confidentiality clause. I hope she knows she can still sell the names to The Inquirer as long as she reports the book stolen before doing so. TMZ come on.
All YOU FAGS, Please read comment 16.1. You cannot change history folks. The Catholic Priests still do not commit to zero tolerance in child molestation and you will be sorry for being a contributor to these children's lives.
Since you like using the word FAG for church members troll, Your nephew marvin (devil torture his soul) was the biggest FAG around till he got his reward in the hospital.
FAG is an acronym for First Assembly of God,you nitwit. Tell me about the time you backed Marvin down or called him a name when he was alive. Yeah, I didn't think so. You still breeding copperheads tough guy? You write pretty intelligently for a grammar school drop-out. You still selling drugs? You still buying them from the same contact? My nephew told people to their face if he had something to say? You may get that strong one day, Wimpy, but I doubt it seriously. Go crawl back under the rock you stole before they come and repossess it.
Sheila may I ask why you are using the word "Fag"? I hope your not meaning it in a homophobic content. And if you are..what does it have to do with any of this? I am not trying to bash you..just wondering what your intent was with this word. Thanks
Absolutely not, Kathy. I have too much respect for God, church and religion to ever do that. Any references that I check on line use FAG as an acronym for First Assembly Of God. I do not bash religions, Kathy. Thanks for asking in case others may be wondering.
Caldwell, English and Killingsworth just messed up their lives. They should look to Fire Chief Henderson and how he has put his life back on track. Henderson is the major leader in Pike County now.
19.2.1 is not me. I guess under those terms I would be considered a problem. I will not back down or shut up.
They have killed 5 of my pets, stolen or rendered my tools and equipment useless, broke in my house 6 times that I know of, plus tore out my phone line 4 separate times! The last time it was cut up town and mine was the only one cut! This list goes on and on...............
I have been threatened along with witnesses to some of this.
I went to the Clothes Line meeting in Thomaston to listen to Johnnie Caldwell speak on domestic violence. He did a good job to a point.
As he was leaving I told him I'd tell him a few things he missed.
Vanessa Mottley was there also. She's the director of operations at Promise Place, a Women's shelter and help source for victims of domestic violence. I have talked with her before and I was told they couldn't help me because it was to dangerous. They do help some people but we have law problems in the state of Georgia.
If you find yourself in a bad situation give them a try.

They were one of the reasons my phone line was tore out......
The sheer ignorance on this blog is amazing. This circuit has lost two good judges. I didn't know there were any perfect people on this earth, but apparently they are in abundance in Pike County. Everyone on here needs to 'get a life' and let these two men and their families rebuild theirs.
I'd also like to add two things.
1- In criminal cases, everyone wants justice to be swift and meaningful - that is, until it involves one of their family. Then, the accused is usually 'innocent' and the judge has mistreated them terribly by sentencing them.
2- In civil cases, it would be a wonderful world if people could settle their own problems. But, guess what? If they aren't adult enough to do that, it's a judge's job to step in and do it for them. At least one side is always going to be unhappy when that happens.
I was a jurror in Thomaston for a drug related case a few years back. Judge Caldwell was hearing it and boy was he swift and hard on the man. It was however, tis young mans third drug charge.
I was pleased with the sentence and the statement that the judge gave at the sentencing.
As far as mis-behaving, well, we all have before and he stepped down. What more would you like to see happen?
Judges resigning seems to be popular in the Griffin District.

Think about it, obama hasn't picked up ANY new support, and has lost a lot.
Oh yea, judges. (snicker)
