In an interview with the Griffin Daily News, Griffin circuit district attorney Scott Ballard reports he has been questioned by investigators from the Judicial Qualifications Commission regarding its investigation of Judge Johnnie L. Caldwell Jr.

This man is a disgrace to the judicial system. He is the poster child for what you don't want your kids to grow up to be. If the investigation was thorough and the JCQ wanted to they could find a lot of wrong doing on his part. Practice medicine? Spend time with grandchildren? I think not! He is a egocentric, hypocritical, skit chasing, dirty old man. I hope vendication is starting. If so maybe the rest (who are like him) will fall with him.

The Lord said we should not be judgemental of others ,least we be judged. I have known this man as a good,by the law and honorable man. He has ruled fairely and by the law. You who are so critical,do you have any evidence of any wrong doing? iF SO PUT IT UP OR SHUT UP.

Funny how you signed your name....God doesnt like for us to judge each other either. God forgives us all no matter what we do, how bad or how many people are hurt by our actions. Im just glad I serve a God, Gracious God. Everyone on here, so quick to talk about each other....that's why the world is like it is today. We need to all try to be like HIM....caring and foregiving.

Sure, he is caring and forgiving. But he can also handle problems with a forceful hand. Read about Sodom and Gomorrah and tell me that God will not take control, when the need arises. Why do you blog on here anyway? I know you CAN because you have the right as an American. (Thank you American Military) BUT if you blog to pass religion on to others, I am just informing you that it is a rough road to Blogland. I wish you luck, but this is not (usually) the place to find kind words and good potato salad recipes.

I know the story about Sodom, I know what the Word says...and Im not here trying to pass religion on to others just stating the facts and wondering why everyone is so quick to be so mean when SOMEONE else does something wrong...Im sure YOU just like me and everyone else have done things you are not proud of, the only reason these men are in the spotlight is because of the title they carry..and yes they are held to a higher standard but we should all look at ourselves, Im sure theres room for improvement somewhere..God just wants us all to keep our eyes set on Him and try to make this world a better place while we are here. Gossip and slander hurts not only the accused but their families too.

Guess some of you must have never been in the courtroom when he was on the bench. He would sit up there laughing, making jokes when matters for some were very serious, also telling defendants that didn't have an attorney that they better get ready because they would be representing themselves. I'm glad he is gone!!!I would like to know where the other blog is also. Would like to read the comments!

IF THIS WENT ON......it is very unprofessional. IF THIS WENT ON......I hope he is ashamed of himself. IF THIS WENT ON......my respect for him would die immediately. IF, IF, IF.........Court is not funny for people. It is often necessary, but not funny. If is a big word. As I said before, when you speak ill of someone, have the guts to use your name.

Johnny-gate has really freaked me out. I'm still at the intersection of Highway 19 and Oliver Road-no visitors yet. I did see someone go by looking for pretty nurses-on his way to Upson Regional, I guess.

I just had three calls to educate me on the Johnny Gate comment. It refers to the Watergate fiasco. Why did I not catch that? I am ashamed of myself now. I believe I would have had to use my name and take credit for that one, Marvin.
