The red hot Diamond Pirates kept their winning ways with four wins this week. McIntosh, Crawford County and a doubleheader with Heard County were victims for the Pirates.
Monday, April 12, the Pirates traveled to Peachtree City to do battle with the McIntosh Chiefs. Pike took an early 4-0 lead after four innings of play. Going to the top of the sixth inning the Pirates found themselves trailing 6-4. In the top of the seventh the Pirates plates three runs to take the lead 7-6. Chris Long and Chad Kirksey hit back to back homers to tie the game. Seth Floyd hit the go ahead RBI a couple of batters later.
Dustin Jordan slides into third base against Heard County. Jordan was called out on the play.
