Family waits for word of long-lost Lt. Eugene Oxford
A team of Department of Defense investigators recently reached the crash site of a World War II B-24 bomber in the eastern end of the Himalayan Mountains and began a search for the human remains of its long-lost crew, according to a published report. One of its eight-member crew was Lt. Eugene Oxford of Concord.
