Perdue: Health care vote will cripple state's budget, small businesses

Governor Sonny Perdue issued the following statement today regarding the healthcare legislation passed by the United States Congress:

“Unfortunately, the United States House of Representatives last night chose politics over the will of the American people. The enormous upheaval of our healthcare system was pushed through the House against the wishes of the majority of American families and businesses.

Here's another group that it's time to clean house.

These clowns from our local county commission to the state of georgia to the federal government have spent the last 40 years squandering every penny of the people's money now they want to cry about it.

It is time to start over. Get rid of EVERY single politician and begin again. VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!

King David. I never agree with you but I have to do so now. The governor has had seven years to do something and he has not done anything for GA. I think we should start over with everyone. There should be other strong parties.

I think that since they passed this bill that all people even the ones from the president on should have the same care no choices. I think if we have to suffer they do to and they can also do without raises in fact their pay should be cut and put back in the budget and we would have more money than we do now

Ya were is the birth certificate for this so called President? My friend went to the food stamp office to apply for food stamps and was DENIED because he had to send out of state for the cert.And was told when he gets it bring it in and we will go over your app.So thats another 30 days to wait. So he just needs to go put in a app. for a high payin job with benifits lots of money good food . because you don't a birth cert. for that.

Hmmmm... sounds like Governor Perude is laying the foundation for a Senate or Congressional office. He can only be Governor for two terms, so I guess now is the time to take a strong stand for whatever most people in Georgia are thinking at the moment.

Sonny Perdue has been a good Governor for Georgia. Hes has worked to raise SAT scores and brought industry to Georgia. Would detractors please list specifically their complaint with Governor Perdue ?
