Firefighters battle brush fires

Pike County fire departments were busy early last week extinguishing multiple grass fires in the county Tuesday and Wednesday. Capt. Brian Michel of Lifsey Springs Station 3 said wind was a big factor Wednesday when three grass fires were put out.
