Liz Cheney doesn't hold a seat in the United States Senate. She doesn't have the power to call committee hearings to intimidate those who dare disagree with her. And she isn't practicing her demagoguery in an era of widespread fear of an existential threat. Nevertheless, she has slipped easily into the role of Joseph McCarthy.

Sounds like you're fishing for a different kind of story to me, do explain for us simple minded folk...
I apologize for having led you down the road of a violent presumption. Like I said, I was making light of a much more complicated issue. Nevertheless, Cynthia Tucker is still wrong in her position. I do appreciate her for bringing it up, though, it just gives me another reason to love the Cheney's.
Don't you just love that sentence. I am with her all the way. Terrorists do not have American Rights. They should use the same rope that was used on Saddam HUSSEIN and blame it on Gravity!!!!
Who cares what Cynthia Tucker thinks? Just a kook ex-congressman.
And why do you narrow your field of information. Even if you disagree with someone, would you not want to know what they think so you can reason a counterpoint?
I for one, am no fan of the Cheneys, but I don't mind hearing what they say.
"Winning" these prizes doesn't make you anything now days, heck, obamma won a nobel peace prize, and he is still worthless too.
Some points:
1 - The Cheney's are entitled to their opinion just like Ms. Tucker. If the Cheney's should not have an opinion then neither should Ms. Tucker.
2 - I didn't see Ms. Tucker spouting off about: Michael Moore, Dixie Chicks, and the multitude of liberal actors/actresses when they had an opinion. If your going to attack conservatives for having an opinion, shouldn't you apply the same standard to liberals.
3 - I haven't heard Ms. Tucker speak about Al Gore's intellectual honesty. Here is a man who is profiting from scaring the world about global warming and man's contribution. Yet he flys a private jet wherever he goes (creates more greenhouse gasses in one trip than our cars create in a year) and has a nearly $5000 per month electric bill (I'm guessing that isn't generated by solar cells).
So Ms. Tucker, where is YOUR intellectual honesty?
Liberal - lacking moral restraint (there are several others this was just what seemed most correct considering the current attempts by the democrats to circumvent the constitution)
Conservatism - : a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change; specifically : such a philosophy calling for lower taxes, limited government regulation of business and investing, a strong national defense, and individual financial responsibility for personal needs
I did select the definitions I liked and stated so in the e-mail.
As far as opinions, they are like backsides everyone has one and I am only particularly concerned with mine. Just like you.
Just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean you have the right to speak in the manner that you chose.
The reason I use my real name is so that I avoid speaking to people the way you've spoken to me. I would suggest that you use your real name as well and your responses will be better planned.

I am quite sure now that often, very often, in matters concerning religion and politics a man's reasoning powers are not above the monkey's.
