Elementary students in need get guiding light

A lighthouse board has been placed at the front desk of the elementary school to help gather materials for children in need. Members of Friendship Presbyterian Church initiated a partnership with counselor Patti Rutledge to help meet some of the immediate needs of students. The lighthouse board matches the school’s nautical theme and reads Be A Guiding Light.

They should post it on the website, not many parents really would see this at the school. But yeah, great idea..

It is wonderful to hear some positive news. Please do post the list somehow, if possible. All of us do not have children in school but would like to participate.

You might call the number that's listed for the school and ask about those items. There may be some privacy concerns where these children are involved. You may be able to get an item from the list over the phone, but it will still have to be delivered to the school. Thanks for caring!
