When he hung himself on Georgia's death row early on New Year's Day, Leeland Mark Braley had not had a visitor who was not an attorney in two and a half years.
Braley was not forgotten, however. His inmate account was kept flush with cash in the years since his conviction on Aug. 9, 1999 for the brutal murder of Zebulon insurance agent Kelli Hammond.

They need to back to the work farm system. No more free ride. You want to eat? Farm this land grow your food. Don't want to work? You're gonna get thin real quick.
No Televisions
No Weight Room
No Video Games (yes, video games)
No books (except the Bible)
No free health care (your family can pay)
No free dental care (ditto)
Then, when you are out of time, charge the family for the cost of execution.
