Protest planned for Tuesday

Citizens met Saturday in the Pike County High School cafeteria to make final plans for a protest to be held on the courthouse square just before Tuesday's board of commissioners meeting. The protest will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on the north side of the square near the commissioners building.

Please join in for this protest. Citizens will hear JC speak on the need for SPLOST and how our county can pay Fire Chief Henderson without a tax increase and without a nickel from the Fire Tax he put together. JC Morrison has given so much time and effort to you people, now is the time to help him out. You will be blessed.

There he goes again trying to steal Margie Trammells hardwork and thunder. Just who is this JC fellow? Is there any subject in government he is not a expert on? My neighbor Mary told me he works at the Dairy Queen in Griffin and plays with little firetrucks.

JC is the one that got Parrish Swift, Tommy Powers, Roosevelt Willis along with Steve Fry's blessing to take Mrs. Trammell's seat on the Planning and Development board and give it to him. It has been a joke since. That is the joke about the snake on the P&D board. JC is the snake.

When is the Tea Party for the Board of Education and Mr. Duncan? There must be one scheduled since Margie only mentions the BOC and for the fact that the schools account for over half of our tax bills each year. Shouldn't the BOE spend that money wisely? Maybe they plan to picket between the courthouse and the Central Office. That must be it.

So greatful to John Morrison and Margie Tramell for standing up for all of us tax poor citizens. John you do so much good for the people.
