High tunnel project can help local farmers
D&A Farm has been growing in Pike County for about four years. Now the Bentoski family is eligible for the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service High Tunnel Hoop System for Crops pilot EQIP program which will fund one high tunnel per farm.

Thank you Farmer Dave for locally growing these tender lettuces in Middle Georgia winter! High tunnels do work.
