I was recently sent an article on Mark Sanford, the South Carolina politician and seeming international playboy.
Pundits are saying that in spite of the danger he faced regarding impeachment for running off to Argentina to see his mistress — his best insurance policy may well have been South Carolina's lieutenant governor, Andre Bauer.

I'm not sure I understand; and I'm a Libertarian (but pressured to vote Republican so we aren't turned into a completely socialist society). We need to get the plebeian tendencies to shift to freedom. Plebeian tendencies come from common folks; why would they need a psychologist for checking their common tendencies? I'm so disgusted with politics - both houses have shifted from a burdern to serve (the way it was supposed to be) into a career of service (compensation for serving in either house should be limited to the average income of the area from which they serve). All the benefits/pay given congress and the senate has escalated to the point where no one would want to do anything but serve (the better word would be "take" nowadays), if given the choice. And our government is bought and sold through those folks. The president can't do much without the representatives; the buck stops with them. We plebeians need a better government - the tea parties are a start, maybe they will escalate into something more radical and the Libertarians can actually get some seats at the table. For the record, Rush Limbaugh is certainly not most Republican's hero; I'd pick Ronald Reagan myself, but I'm only 39 so he's the best one I've seen in my years. I like Newt, too. I hope the Libertarians can rise into a viable solution - we sure need something different. Why would you not post your name on your opinion?

Hi again Danny. Yes indeed. Reagan is the best President that I can remember. He would not walk into The Oval Office without wearing a suit and tie. (True fact) Then along came clinton, he would not go in wearing pants (for long). You will never get that last question of your comment answered with an answer of logic. They are afraid we will come and kill them if we know their name, they do not have to put their name, or they will start using your name. Face it...we write to people who are ashamed or afraid of using their names. Isn't that sad...poor,poor pitiful Anonymous.
