A man was arrested near downtown Zebulon Friday afternoon after an extensive chase. The chase, which drew a huge law enforcement response, resulted in one arrest. The arrested man was not armed robbery suspect Kevin Chapman, 22, who was captured Jan. 27 in Clayton County.
Ricky Leonard Bagley, 26, from Cedartown, was arrested after Zebulon Police stopped him for reckless driving and speeding. Bagley had outstanding warrants in Arizona for violation of probation.
Officer C. Tillery pulled him over in Pike's Peak Apartments and saw he had two small kids in the car. After Bagley fled across Hwy 19, Tillery stayed with the children and contacted their mother to pick them up.
Tillery said it didn't take long for officers to catch Bagley who ran across 19 and through the woods near Jackson Street. Bagley is facing charges of driving without a license, reckless driving, speeding and eluding officers. Arizona will not pay to have him extradited for the warrants in that state.

Gives those 2 children a great feeling of security, I bet.
