Mrs. Olene Caldwell Bogle, age 104, of Zebulon passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at Sunbridge Health Care in Griffin. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 3 p.m. in New Hope Baptist Church in Zebulon with Dr. Jerry W. Light Sr., Rev. Glynn Duncan and Rev. Kenneth Haag officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Moody Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Anita Tucker Harris, age 44 of Zebulon, passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. in Moody Memorial Gardens with Dr. Ted Moody officiating. Moody Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Jeremiah Wade “Jeremy” Strickland, age 28, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A memorial service was conducted Friday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Moody Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Hammett officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a fund that has been established for the family at GraceRock Community Church, 2556 Flat Shoals Rd., Concord, Ga., 30206. Mr. Harris Duane Yawn, age 53, of Americus, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Magnolia Manor in Americus. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Sept. 26, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Moody Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Whitmire and Rev. Scott Harrell officiating. Burial followed in Moody Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the League of the Good Samaritan, Magnolia Manor Nursing Center, 2001 S. Lee St., Americus, Ga., 31709 in memory of Duane.
