Homicide victim identified
The Spalding County sheriff’s department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. with the assistance of the news media and the public, have identified the victim of the homicide that occurred on Nov. 14. The victim was identified as Manuel Smerlin Herrera, 24, of Methuen, Mass.
The family has been notified and are making arrangements.
